Every single time I am asked what I do and I mention the company I work for, the first thing people say is “that’s a scam”. They have no idea that this “scam” has allowed me to meet some truly amazing people, food on my table, and branch out into multiple avenues, creating various streams of income. They don’t realize that while their newsfeeds and timelines are filled with their various comings and goings, feelings, meals, and endless selfies, I am posting the same thing… but I actually get paid to do so.

Don’t get me wrong. I have had multiple 9-5’s. And I am not knocking them at all. Some people thrive at their 9-5 and that is great! You should always bloom wherever you are planted.

But some people are born with glitter in their veins.

At some point any driven individual will get tired of building someone else’s dream. Any creative individual will start to resent the cubicle life. Sadly, it has been embedded in our brains that going to school for 4 years to work 40 hours per week for 40 years and retiring on 40% of the pay is what life is all about. It is also sad that most people are driven by the fear of failure.
